The ‘House of brands’ Cloche d’Or retail centre will feature the best international brands, chosen for their longevity and their high quality. This is to be a new and unique destination in Luxembourg: a European sanctuary of high quality and high standards.

The 130 brands and almost 20 restaurants will combine a department store feel with the very best of what a retail centre can offer, all presented in a top-flight environment that blends a luxurious dynamic with all of the international energy the place has - with a Luxembourg flavour.

Ceetrus Luxembourg is seeking to develop a solid business partnership with its tenants with a view to showcasing each one’s DNA and the best of the world that it offers.    

  • A multi-cultural establishment

Cloche d’Or enjoys an outstanding positioning at the centre in the Gasperich district, an area directly accessible from major routes and urban transport. The centre will be the shopping link for more than 500 000 homes with international cultures, and considerably increases the catchment area estimated at 1.7 million inhabitants.

Furthermore, 150 000 people cross a border every day to come and work in Luxembourg.    

  • The new district of influence for the capital

The Cloche d’Or retail centre is located 3 km from Luxembourg city centre, and acts as a marker for the planning of a new district - the aim being to underpin the territory’s tourism appeal and to transform it into a genuine city trip style destination.

The Cloche d’Or district is founded on the principle of functional mixing and will bring together all of the elements of a city: a school, the Vauban French lycée, a rescue and training centre, upmarket residential housing, major offices for the companies Deloitte, PwC and Alter Domus within a 20ha landscape green space – the biggest in the city.

The whole set-up will generate employment and significant economic benefits for the city of Luxembourg, with over 45 000 people living, working and studying there as well as enjoying top of the range shopping experiences in a superb district.

  • Environmental excellence:

The project management has made a commitment to engage with the international English BREEAM environmental assessment method for buildings, and is aiming for an EXCELLENT rating for the retail centre as a way of boosting the project’s value.
